Q: What is SciTech Academy?
SciTech Academy is a non-traditional school (in accreditation process), offering an alternative to standard education, and provide an alternative for homeschooling families. Students have the option to come to classes in person daily, in person once a week or online.
Q - When does SciTech Academy classes meet?
Our classes are as follows;
Grades 1 - 6: Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays
Grades 7 - 12: Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.
Q: Can students take course online?
Yes, SciTech Academy offer classes in person, online or both. Decisions are made at enrollment.
Q: When is Tuition due?
Tuition is due every month, August to December for the Fall semester, January to May for the Spring Semester. Summer semester is paid upon registration.

We accept cash, checks, money orders and credit cards

Q: Can I drop or add a class after registration?
If a course in dropped the first week of class there is a full refund of the class, the second week of class, 75% is refundable. After the second week there is no refund, however, no more monthly payments are required. Remember,the registration fee and the supplies fee paid is non-refundable.
Q: Is this a year long commitment?
No, Classes are semester long commitment, teachers are hired based on registration.
Q: How can I see my children's grades?
We will be using planbook/canvas which will also have the assignments, activities, links to videos as well as grade updates. Once an assignment is graded it is placed in planbook/canvas.
Q: Do you grade and average grades?
We do issue grades, however, a student will always have the option to improve their grades. Progress reports are not sent out as parents always has access to grades. A report card will be given at the end of the semester. For homeschooled children, because the parent is the educator the progress report is a suggested grade.
